What I love about Learnin' The Ropes is that it creates a fresh perspective about jump roping.  The PD offered ways to view jump roping not just through the lens of learning certain jumps but also as an outlet for creativity, individuality, group work, cooperation, and enthusiasm!  I enjoyed learning more about footwork, non-jumping skills, combinations, and games.  You guys created an opportunity for me to use what I learned to think outside the box of just jumping rope to how I could use jumping rope to engage students in a bigger way than just a unit in the curriculum.
